This past week, Temple First successfully hosted our First-Gen Internship Panel! Featuring a mix of professional and undergraduate student panelists, the session highlighted important lessons, including: 1️⃣ Skill Development Over Perfection: Not stressing about what skills you lack when starting an internship. Internships are designed for growth, so focus on learning and improving. Curiosity and a strong work ethic often matter more than being perfect. 2️⃣ Building Connections = Career Capital: Your network is as valuable as your skills! Using your internship to build relationships with peers, mentors, and managers, which can provide valuable career opportunities and support in the future. 3️⃣ Standing Out in the Internship Hunt: Focus on your passion, enthusiasm, and the value you bring; personalizing your application, showcasing your unique experiences, and demonstrating why you’re excited about that particular company. Much thanks to Andrew Blank, Gary B. Lawery III, and Tynecia Wilson, M.Ed for their professional insights into our conversation! Also, thank you to my fellow student speakers, including Susan Daniel, Chuyan Xie, Evie Lugo, Giavonna Zappone, and Heera Chhetri, for their time (especially during midterms!)

@Celonis wanted to showcase their internships in an authentic way that only the interns themselves could have done. By giving interns the power to film themselves, while sticking to a shot list-format, they were able to do just that. #iphonevideoproduction #videoproduction #productvideos #marketingstrategy #contentstrategy #employerbranding
