Last week, Tsecond attended the #SOFWeek2024, where Director of Government Programs, John Williams, and Vice President of Business Development, Jordan Bushong had the chance to network with United States Department of Defense officials, leaders from all the military services, industry leaders and visionaries. Thank you for visiting us and for the overwhelming response. It was a pleasure to showcase Tsecond's BRYCK technology at the Boeing booth exclusively. Thank you Global SOF Foundation and USSOCOM for hosting a great event, and we look forward to the next one! It was great to hear Ms. Nashold, Deputy Commander, #NAVIFOR, talk about the integrated #NavyIW force and the important role of Naval Meteorology and Oceanography, #CNMOC. #itstartswithus #WEST2024
#West2024 Navy leaders continue to communicate how critical Information Warfare (IW) is to the success of our Naval forces at West 2024. Ms. Elizabeth Nashold, highlighted the role IW plays in operations throughout the fleet. “IW is foundational to success. From peacetime to competition to crisis and conflict…it's integral to fleet and joint operations and it plays a role in every warfare domain every day and its own warfighting domain as well.”

The goals set by Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Lisa Franchetti in her new fleet-wide guidance may be tough, but they are realistic, the head of the Navy said. “Today I released my Navigation Plan for America’s Warfighting Navy. “This is my strategic guidance to the fleet and focuses on two strategic ends: 1) Readiness for the possibility of war with the Peoples Republic of China by 2027, and 2) Enhancing long-term advantage. We pursue these ends through two mutually reinforcing ways: 1) Implement Project 33 and 2) Expand Navy’s contribution to the Joint warfighting ecosystem. Together we will ensure the US Navy remains the world’s premier fighting force.“ See https://lnkd.in/gQEsPZfm

Someone who follows geopolitical and geo-economic trends and studies how national security decisions get made. All comments are personal opinions and do not reflect any official/institutional views.
This is critical engagement that needs to happen to connect policymakers and investors together ... and to see projects that can enhance the industrial base both for national security needs but also to develop products for the consumer markets. Also important to stress how the stability in which business thrives rests on effective military deterrents.
Capital Park Partners had a wonderful set of engagements with members of the California congressional delegation discussing the intersection of the defense industrial base, operating forces, and national security that happens at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Commander, Naval Air Force, Pacific, NAVWAR, and the dozens of other San Diego area military bases. It's clear that the future deterrence is heavily reliant on minimizing the chance of miscalculation, and that means a real time, accurate common operational picture is the foundation for our operating forces. #cjadc2 #indopacific #capitalparkpartners

“The command’s core mission to train, mentor, and assess integrated maritime forces for worldwide assignment is informed by the current and projected strategic security environment,” said Rear Adm. Max “Pepper” McCoy, commander, CSG-4. “Recent armed conflicts remind us of the imperative for naval forces to train to any threat environment they may encounter, and underscores the complexity facing commanders leading teams from the East Coast who may operate in the U.S. Sixth, Fifth, or Seventh Fleet areas of operation.” Check out RDML McCoy’s article, “Bringing the Team Together: Integrated Training for Tactical Advantage,” about the teamwork across the Navy, Joint, and combined team to deliver warfighting capability here: https://lnkd.in/eS8Mf9rb #training #teamwork #maritimediplomacy #allies #LiveVirtualConstructive #LVC #BlueGreenTeam cc: U.S. Fleet Forces Command Fleet Marine Force Atlantic, Marine Forces Command, Marine Forces Northern Command U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa/U.S. 6th Fleet Commander, U.S. 2nd Fleet II Marine Expeditionary Force STRIKFORNATO | Naval Striking and Support Forces NATO U.S. Navy Reserve Commander Naval Surface Force Atlantic Commander, Naval Air Force Atlantic Commander, Naval Information Forces

#navalintegration is occurring at all echelons primarily with an emphasis at the Fleet and MARFOR level, or lower, small unit level. However, for the Navy DMO will still be executed at the CSG level. It would be wise for the FMF to start integrating with CSG training events to understand how the Navy will plan and execute operations in the "blue" water, so Marines can conduct operations in the "brown" water littoral areas and enable DMO. I encourage FMF units to reach out to CSG-4 (East Coast) / CSG-15 (West Coast) and see if they can participate in CSG events beyond current efforts. Marines will learn a lot which will better inform planners and commanders on how best to employ FMF forces, and the Navy will see the Marine Corps can contribute to the DMO fight.
