Looking back, what would you tell your younger self? Today is International Women's Day – and our D&I team has asked this question to female colleagues, who shared their perspectives with us. The colleagues in the video below are all part of our global Women’s Networks, which are a fundamental pillar of how we live Diversity and Inclusion at Infineon Technologies. Diversity concerns us all. Our networks help us strengthen our D&I activities, raise awareness and act as ambassadors around the globe. Fostering an inclusive workplace environment is essential to our success and it takes everyone’s commitment and support. For this year’s International Women’s Day, we held a series of virtual panel discussions with Renesas’ senior executives and engineering leaders. We invited our male allies to join the discussion on topics such as unconscious bias, empowering and promoting women in the workplace, and how we can create an inclusive environment where all employees can make the best of their unique strengths and achieve their potential. When I started in the semiconductor industry in the early 1970s, there were no women in executive roles or board positions. The odds of me landing one of those positions seemed severely stacked against me, yet I was able to succeed. How?
