Electric cars make a lot more sense. 1. They are cheaper to make, 2. cheaper to run, 3. equally convenient to use (10min to recharge) as combustion engine cars. This all works like that, once you hit the right scale of production and recharging infrastracture. China is there already, Europe will catchup soon. Like in any long-term trends, there will be always some market wiggles (like lower dynamics in YoY sales). And if you maintain the right perspective, these temporary headwinds could come not as a threat, but as opportunities to catalyse even faster growth. Heartfelt congratulations to both the Eleport and Turbovolt teams for completing this acquisition process at lightning speed. Hello, everyone! Gas to Charger has outlined three stages for our growth plan, each with specific goals: In the 1st phase, we aim to test our technology and operational methods. Our plan involves setting up three electric vehicle (EV) charging stations using a hybrid solution, combining Photovoltaic Panels and Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries. These stations will be situated in remote areas of Spain, specifically in Valencia and Barcelona. Moving on to the 2nd phase (after 2025), we intend to expand further by deploying 40 EV charging stations across remote locations in the provinces of Valencia and Barcelona. Finally, the 3rd phase (after 2026) focuses on expanding our network of autonomous charging stations to cover the remaining provinces of Spain. By 2030, we aim to add another 200 EV charging stations to our network. Beam - formerly Rovco/Vaarst, the newly launched brand formed through the merger of UK-based offshore wind technology companies Rovco and Vaarst, has expanded its fleet with two autonomous surface vessels (ASVs) and an electric work-class remotely operated vehicle (ROV). The company aims to transform the offshore wind industry using AI-powered technology and robotic automation, with a strong emphasis on tackling climate change. Beam’s £15 million investment in Xplorer ASVs and the Quantum EV ROV marks a significant step towards enhancing the efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of offshore wind energy. Brian Allen, CEO of Rovco, stressed the importance of advancing renewable energy, warning that rising CO2 levels could displace 1.2 billion people by 2050. He reiterated Beam's dedication to revolutionizing offshore wind by automating operations and addressing the labor shortages that challenge the sector. Despite the difficulties, Allen remains optimistic about overcoming these obstacles and reducing dependence on fossil fuels. Beam also plans to hire over 150 technology specialists in the UK and an additional 50 employees worldwide, including in the U.S. and Asia, to support global offshore wind initiatives. Cutting-edge technology is seen as essential for meeting international energy targets and addressing the skills gap in the industry.
