Here are some highlights from our adventure: ✨ The Big Wins: ✅ Hit over $250M in Annualized Revenue at a jaw-dropping 60% YoY growth—not too shabby, right? ✅ Became cashflow positive, which I hear is a good thing in business. 😉 ✅ Welcomed the fantastic team from AmTrav to supercharge our US presence (shoutout to the new dream team! 🙌). ✅ Hit our highest-ever global team engagement—turns out, happy teams do amazing work. ✅ Welcomed more customers from our main competitor than I can count—because winning with ethics, great products, and good old-fashioned hustle is just how we roll. 😎 ✨ The Fun Stuff: 🎉 Survived 1 epic summer party, 2 Christmas parties, and a scavenger hunt where I might have finished 31st out of 32 (but the beers were excellent!) 👋 Welcomed 500 new Travelperkers to the adventure—because world domination requires a big squad. ✨ The Honest Truth: Building a company is tough. It’s a grind every day. We made mistakes, and we’re far from perfect. But you know what? It was still a very good year. To our team, customers, and partners: THANK YOU. THE RECHARGE WE ALL NEED: Happy New Year once again! Perhaps a bit odd to be making a post about #rest and #recharge when most of us are just coming back from a break but I couldn't help it after the observation I made recently. So, during the #holidays, I went to see my GP for a checkup. Now, this is a place that’s usually packed with people at any point in time during the year—you typically have to queue for hours to be seen. But on that day, I was surprisingly the only one there, I mean literally; the only. Now, make of that what you will, but it speaks volumes. As we gear up for the year ahead and dive back into the rat race, consider this: How many of us planned for our #rest as intentionally as we planned for our #goals? There’s a saying: “If you don’t schedule rest, your body will schedule it for you.” Let’s not wait until the end of the year to rest beloveds, make it a habit—a deliberate part of our strategy for success. You are of no use to your employers when you are burnt out anyway. So; Schedule Breaks ☑️: Define Your Recharge ☑️ and Rest Without Guilt ☑️ . 🤔 The benefits of a digital detox? Alright, you might say that this is not breaking #news, but have you actually ever tried it? I took a 4 days-long trip to the bucolic #Slovak #countryside, and enjoyed a full #digital #detox. No social #media, no #emails, no #calls... and it felt so good! I decided to completely step out of my #comfort zone and go in the middle of nowhere. After a 6h #train trip, a very bumpy hike up, trying to make fire from scratch (harder than I thought) and hurry before the night came (no #electricity at my camping site), I realised a few things: ↪ I am so privileged: I live in a #capital city with access to all kinds of goods, #services, #network and #electricity. It is not necessarily the case in more #remote #regions. ↪ We can be so disconnected from #nature: working in #tech, I am bound to be in big cities and fast-paced environments. It is easy to lose track of simple things. ↪Reset your #brain: constantly checking our phones and emails, our brains have no time to reset and process all the information, thus limiting our #creative #thinking and #decision-making. ↪ Look at the bigger picture: taking *quality* time off regularly is also a key to #success. You can't pour from an empty cup, right? In essence, being completely disconnected allowed me to fully #rest and #relax, open my mind to new (#business) ideas, and I wish I did it sooner!
