As Americans gear up for the November 2024 presidential election, a significant wave of young Latino voters is set to make their voices heard at the polls for the first time. Entravision, AltaMed Health Services, and BSP Research LLC have released Week 6 findings from the 2024 National Latino Voter Tracking Poll, showing significant changes in voter engagement, outreach, and key election issues. Latino voter enthusiasm has reached its highest point, with a notable gender divide in candidate preferences emerging as a key trend. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟲: 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗩𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗮𝘀𝗺 𝗛𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 • 75% of Latino voters have already voted or are certain to vote, marking the highest engagement rate since September 11. • Early voting is up to 7% from 3% last week. 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 • 58% of Latino voters have been contacted by political campaigns, up from 48% in Week 1. • Democratic outreach is at 58% (down from 66% in Week 1), while Republican outreach has grown to 44%. 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗩𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 • 33% of Latino voters need more info to make a decision, especially younger voters (under 30) and Independents. • 55% of Independent Latino voters are still undecided. 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗩𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 • Kamala Harris is closing the gap among Independent Latino voters, trailing Donald Trump by just 1 point (44% Trump, 43% Harris). 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲: 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻: Harris leads Trump by +40 points (66% to 30%). 𝗠𝗲𝗻: The race is tighter with Harris leading by +20 points (54% to 43%).
