Happy 3rd Birthday, Palenhuis! Three years ago, the Palenhuis in Amsterdam's Sluisbuurt district was officially unveiled. With its 20 metre height and striking, weathering steel structure, it has since become a real landmark - and we are proud that we sponsored the project with our steel tubes! The design by artist Piet van Wijk, an ode to the pile foundation, reminds us: ‘If you want to get into the air, you have to get into the ground first.’ This philosophy is deeply rooted in Amsterdam's building culture, especially in the Sluisbuurt, where impressive skyscrapers are built on marshy ground. We congratulate the Palenhuis on its anniversary and are delighted to be part of this unique project!
