Sharing a milestone from my Headstarter Fellowship journey! 🌟 For Week 3, Aliza Yousaf and I built a world history chatbot using the RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) framework. We're thrilled with how it's turning out! 🤩 Our tech stack includes FastAPI, Jinja2, Gemini API, Pinecone, and TensorFlow. 🌟 Hack This Fall 2024: An Incredible Solo Adventure! 🌟 I am glad to share my experiences in Hack This Fall 2024. It was a virtual hackathon but so challenging and rewarding that all my independent efforts paid off. I got the chance to learn about the Google for Developers Generative AI track-the big discovery. This project during the hackathon was designing WellNest, a website that uses artificial intelligence and intends to give health advice customized for each person. Great to see what Google Gemini API is all about and how it should be used to design something worthwhile. Soo excited to finally say "We submitted Hermoine AI to the Google Gemini AI Hackathon!". We're thrilled to share Hermoine, an AI-powered assessment tool designed to revolutionize the educational experience for both tutors and students! we came across it on Devpost hackathon website and decided to give it a try. It was really awesome having to work on this with Mojisayo Awolesi and Prince John . The name sounds familiar? 😂, it's the same as one of the female main characters portrayed in harry potter. Here's what Hermoine can do: Free up tutors' time by automating repetitive tasks (quiz creation). Provide students with instant feedback and a variety of engaging question formats. Adapt to different subjects thanks to our focus on prompt engineering. Our journey involved: Exploring cutting-edge AI techniques like NLP and Promp engineering, Rive animations and Baas (Backend as a service) tools. Experimenting with question formats and feedback mechanisms for optimal learning. ✏️ We're particularly proud of: The collaborative spirit that brought Hermoine to life. Its potential to transform assessments and personalize education for all. This project taught us: The immense power of AI in the classroom. During the ADVISORI FTC GmbH #Hackathon on July 10-11, 2024, our team, Team 9, took on the #AIUseCaseChallenge. Competing against 9 other teams, we focused on developing an innovative AI solution for the Validation and Improvement of Test Cases. 🔍 Here’s a quick overview of our approach: 1. Leveraging the API from #ZephyrScala to extract necessary data. 2. Crafting precise prompts through #PromptEngineering. 3. Utilizing #Claude3 via #AWSBedrock API to process the data. 4. Generating AI-driven suggestions for improvements based on the data. 5. Implementing a custom Chrome extension to display these suggestions directly in the browser for immediate action. 💡 The hackathon was a fantastic learning journey. In just two days, I gained deep insights into #AWSBedrock, #AIModels, and #PromptEngineering. I'm excited to work on more AI use cases and can't wait to see the innovative solutions from the other teams. For the past year, I've been diving into the world of generative AI. It all began with my final year project, which led me to discover the potential of GenAI. My research introduced me to LangChain, an impressive framework that helps build with LLMs by chaining interoperable components. Learning it empowered me to create a system I never imagined I'd be able to build. Since then, I've followed LangChain closely. Last week, I received an email about a new course in LangChain Academy focused on LangGraph (a framework for building controllable agentic workflows). Having heard of it but not fully understanding its potential, I enrolled—and the first lesson hooked me! Five days later, I’m here adding my LangGraph certificate of completion to LinkedIn. This course has opened my eyes to endless opportunities in solving real-world problems, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in AI frameworks!
