We understand that the journey through substance use and recovery is deeply personal and challenging. Fentanyl’s presence has intensified this challenge, making it all the more important that we support one another. At The Recovery Center of Ohio, we believe that community is at the heart of recovery. By coming together, we can create a safer, more compassionate space where healing is possible. Let's continue to check in with each other, share resources, and offer support without judgment. If you or someone you know is struggling, we are here to help. Together, we can make a difference. https://lnkd.in/g6TkHTjB #FentanylAwareness #CommunityHealing #RecoveryJourney

Every month it takes a minimum of $500 to feed these children. That isn't a balanced diet, but rather a simple cornmeal, rice, and beans. We want to give them better than that that's why we call upon you this giving Tuesday to consider helping orphans of Action for Rural Children's Empowerment because they also deserve better like other children.. https://gofund.me/72ccffc9

🌙Today is World Narcolepsy Day 🌙 As the CEO and Executive Director of PWN4PWN.org, I want to bring awareness to the challenges faced by people with Narcolepsy and Idiopathic Hypersomnia (IH). PWN4PWN which stands for People with Narcolepsy for People with Narcolepsy, was founded in 2015 by myself and Feri Ascencion Ascension to build a supportive and empowering community for those living with these often misunderstood conditions. While Narcolepsy affects approximately 1 in 2,000 people, the real number could be much higher due to this being under diagnosed. On average, it takes 8 to 15 years for people to be accurately diagnosed with this rare disease. The long path to diagnosis leaves many suffering without knowing the cause of their symptoms. That’swhy raising awareness is so important—together, we can improve the lives of those impacted by this condition! 💡 Here's how you can help: 1. Donate: Your contributions directly support those living with Narcolepsy and IH by providing resources, education, and advocacy efforts. 2. Join Us: If you have Narcolepsy or IH, we welcome you to be part of the PWN4PWN community, where we empower each other to thrive in the face of these challenges. 3. Share this Post: Repost this to help spread the message or share your story of living with an invisible disease.🦠 Every dollar, share, and conversation helps spread awareness and improve lives. Let’s stand together in supporting those with Narcolepsy and IH today and every day! 🌐 https://lnkd.in/eTewcQuU #WorldNarcolepsyDay #NarcolepsyAwareness #PWN4PWN #PeopleWithNarcolepsy #Hypersomnia #SupportNarcolepsy #RareDisease #RareDiseaseAwareness #SleepDisorders #DonateNow #CommunitySupport #HealthAdvocacy 🌟💙

Dear Network, While I may not be celebrating a major career milestone today, compiling this modest list feels like a significant achievement in the current climate here in Lebanon. I want to reach out primarily to my network outside Lebanon, though for those within the country, there are many ways we can all help! As many of you know, Lebanese residents are being displaced from their towns and cities to safer areas due to the ongoing attacks. (Please note: This post is not a space for discussing the legitimacy of the attacks or the political aspects of the situation; comments on those topics will be removed.) Instead, I’d like to share a list of trustworthy proven organizations that are actively working on the ground. I say "proven" because this is unfortunately not our first rodeo, and I want to avoid posting images of suffering to prompt donations. There are plenty of news outlets covering the situation, so I kindly urge you to do your own research as well; the South is tired of having to prove its worth. Here are some organizations making a real difference: Lebanese Red Cross: Active since day one, they’ve achieved what no government has managed regarding crisis response. Support LRC: https://lnkd.in/eTQvTnt8 Lebanese Food Bank: Working tirelessly to provide food for over 1,500 displaced families right now. Donate Here: https://lnkd.in/e8JJvfVP Beit el Baraka : Organizing distributions of medicine, food, money, and mattresses to displaced elders. You can donate directly to “South Lebanon Aid.” Support Beit El Baraka: https://lnkd.in/eujJ-SKq Animals Lebanon: While families flee, this NGO ensures that no furry friends are left behind. Help the Animals: https://lnkd.in/ehrB_7dv Union of Relief and Development Associations - URDA: Focused on the registration and relocation of displaced families. Donate to URDA: https://lnkd.in/eBZVtqCu Offre Joie: Providing shelters and food for the displaced. Contribute Here: https://lnkd.in/eJpisAiR Embrace Lebanon: While their support may not be visible, they are helping thousands cope with the trauma of war. Please consider donating to support mental health initiatives: Donate to Embrace Lebanon: https://lnkd.in/eMJTCpUA If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this message widely so that others can help as well. P.S. I recently graduated with a Master’s in International and Development Studies, specializing in migration and refugee studies from the Geneva Graduate Institute. Trust me 😉
