No access to books? Is that even possible in the 21st century? The answer is simple yet unpleasant: Yes, there are many people in rural areas throughout #europe who lack access to newly published books. In Azerbaijan, our member Kitabistan has a commendable initiative aimed at addressing the imbalance between big cities and small villages in terms of access to books. Through the 'Let’s make our way to the villages' campaign, our colleagues visit remote regions, encourage the youth to read, donate books to libraries and schools, and support the establishment of new libraries in those areas.
