We are hiring " Estimation Engineer". Mechanical Contracting & Services co WLL Knowledge on market value of commodities/ materials or quick learning abilities on it. Competency to know and apply the Oil & gas bidding strategies. Estimate independently with less assistance at the beginning. Utilizing the Candy RIBS module, estimate project costs by breaking down rates into individual items and analyzing the quantities required for each item. Perform quantity take-off from project drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents. Determine the quantities of materials, labor, and equipment needed for each rate item. Maintain and update the cost database within the Candy RIBS module. This includes keeping rates, quantities, and other cost-related information up to date. Monitor and track project costs against the estimated values. Identify any discrepancies or variances and provide recommendations for corrective actions. Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and proposals for new projects or change orders/ variations. Collaborate with the bidding team to ensure accurate and competitive pricing. Work closely with department managers, engineers, quantity surveyors, and other stakeholders to gather project-specific information and ensure accurate cost estimation. Preparing the initial budget based on estimation in CCS Candy and handover the file to central panning cost controller. Assist cost controller wherever required throughout the duration of the project. Remodelling of budget upon receiving revised calculations from site based on IFC drawings/documents. Maintaining the cost control system and for the timely preparation of the Period cost Reports. Expediting the project QS/Estimator to ensure that they provide their timely input as required for cost control. Development and maintenance of planned and actual commitment versus expenditure reports from which the planned and actual cost Progress Curves are generated.
