The dust has settled. I like the ambiance! Classy- a typical city mall. A different mood to those malls of the same class in Bangkok though . However, a distinctive new attractive landmark in Kuala Lumpur. Generally, autumnish bronze-silver look and feel with sparkling glitters ID. Not as many high-bridge brands as I would have thought, but the regional brands are making a strong presence here too. A few new F&B brands with the rest comprising familiar brands with new look. I would have thought the F&B outlets to be more. Biophilic…..not obvious inside. Got to have a look at the external. The roof outdoor park is not accessible because of the rain. Rumour has it as under the jurisdiction of DBKL. Hope it remains as it is five years down the road. Let’s see how the novelty period will affect other malls. My guess it surely will but for how long. A test for existing malls on how well they have done their branding and marketing to achieve a good depth of brand loyalty. If not, there might be movement in market share. Hopefully, the pie will get substantially bigger with the no visa incentive for tourists from China and India. Let the show begins! #theexchangetrx
