Did you know? The Kalmar line of Terminal Tractors has an interesting background. Back in the 1950s, a small Kansas based company called Ottawa Steel Products, known for its farm equipment attachments, built the world's first terminal tractor in 1958 for moving trailers in ports, terminals, warehouses and distribution facilities. Over time, Ottawa Steel became a global leader in the terminal tractor industry, eventually joining the Kalmar family.
