With the prevailing technology (or lack thereof) at the time, during the late 2000s and early 2010s many wealth managers exited segments they simply couldn’t make profitable. Think execution-only, advisory (especially in investment-led services), and often significant elements of bespoke #discretionary business. So the ability to service clients at scale in a customised way due to #technological progress comes at the right time. Execution-only, and services of all levels of advice which are generally more automated, and personalised, are set to grow in demand across the #Nordic region, driven, though not exclusively, by younger generations demanding more control over the way their capital is invested.
