THE NEW NEUTRAL. A versatile and surprisingly elegant hue is making its way into fashion, interiors, and decor alike. As the ‘quiet luxury’ trend grew over the past few years, so did the prevalence of beige as a colour go-to. Now, there’s a new neutral that designers are reaching for in a warmer, more flattering colour palette. Tones of brown, especially the chic taupe, is on the top of every designers ‘it’ list. With the flexibility to range from bold and striking to soft and welcoming, it’s easy to see why we will be seeing much more brown in our fashion, furniture, and interior design in the months to come. Brown, especially taupe, is the new beige in interior design, and it is easy to see why. Reminiscent of velvety cocoa, a mid-brown taupe is a striking colour for any room. Depending on the furniture and accent colors introduced alongside, it has the flexibility to range from looking neat and tailored to soft and welcoming. #currentdesign #community #craftsmanship #design #fashion #innovation #interiordesign #luxuryhomes #modernluxury #modern #sophisticatedhomes #seating #style #stylehome #trends #TUSCH #TUSCHseating

How the oversized shirt trend inspires interior Design! The oversized shirt trend has taken the fashion world by storm, but what if we could bring that same relaxed, oversized vibe into interior design? Here are a few unexpected ways to incorporate this fashion-forward trend into your home decor! 1. Oversized Drapes for a Laid-Back Look: Just like an oversized shirt gives a relaxed feel, extra-large drapes can create a cosy, effortless atmosphere in your living room. Go for flowy fabrics in neutral tones for that perfect ‘luxe meets comfort’ aesthetic. 2. Button-Up Wall Art: Use the oversized shirt concept as a metaphor and create custom wall art with large buttons or shirt-like patterns. A framed, artistic arrangement of shirt buttons or prints could bring a quirky, fashion-inspired edge to your interiors. 3. Layered Rugs for an ‘Oversized’ Effect: Take inspiration from the draped effect of oversized shirts by layering different-sized rugs to create an oversized, plush vibe underfoot. This not only adds texture but also plays with dimensions to bring depth into any room. #InteriorDesignTrends #FashionMeetsInteriors #OversizedDesign #CreativeHomeDecor #DesignInspiration

Ever wondered what ‘COM’ stands for in the world of interior design? COM means ‘Customer’s Own Material’. It’s a term that plays a big role in creating truly bespoke interiors. When designing a room, after the initial space planning, I pull together a cohesive colour scheme. This scheme might include a mix of wallpapers, upholstery fabrics, soft furnishings, metal and wood finishes. The magic happens when we apply these materials to pieces like sofas, curtains, or footstools - this is where COM comes into play. For instance, we may fall in love with a fabric, and instead of settling for the standard options, we send our chosen fabric to the furniture maker. They then use our fabric on their sofas or other pieces, resulting in custom designs that perfectly align with the vision for the space 🖤 It doesn’t stop there…! Details like trims on footstools or curtains add that extra touch of luxury and personalisation. Every piece becomes a part of the client’s story, beautifully embellished and completely unique. #luxuryinteriors #interiordesigner #bespokeinteriors

Earlier this year, Vogue surveyed several interior designers, asking them what they were seeing among their most prestigious clients. The words quiet luxury came up often, and an emphasis on classic pieces that last through the years. One designer noted a change from grays to browns, while a contemporary California designer explained the allure of mixed textures: plaster walls, wood floors, or ceilings as an effortless way to bring dimension to a space. As one designer summed it up, "Tactile finishes “that age gracefully will be preferred over slick and new, like handwoven textiles, complex stones, and expressive woods. The subtle sophistication of mixed materials in a room conveys a collected interior, which tends to be more compelling than what appears to have been designed.” In this article, Luxury Defined looks at a few other design trends taking shape this season and next. Choosing the right colours can make all the difference... Choosing the right colour palette for your space is crucial to creating an environment that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional. We've put together a few helpful tips when it comes to choosing your colour palette: - Function: Consider the purpose of the room. For example, a bedroom may benefit from soothing colours, while a home office might require more stimulating hues. - Size: Light colours can make a small room appear larger, while dark colours can create a cozy, intimate feel. - Lighting: Natural and artificial lighting can significantly affect how colours appear. Test your chosen colours under different lighting conditions. - Boldness: If you're adding any bold colours, we'd recommend adding these in soft furnishings, artwork and accessories so they can be easier to change in the future. As interior designers, we'd generally choose around 5 colours for a whole house to ensure there's a lovely cohesive flow as you walk through the spaces. We like to mix a calming neutral colour with a darker complimentary colour and then throw in a contrasting colour to make the space pop. Don't forget to add in your textures too which could be a lovely warm oak wood or a sophisticated cool concrete. #RealEstate #HMO #PropertyInvestment #HomeBuying #PropertyDevelopment #DreamHome #InvestInQuality #LocationMatters #HomeSweetHome #ScandiDesign #ScandinavianDesign #TopTip #RealEstateBranding #InteriorDesign #CGI #3DMoodBoard #3DVisual #SalesSuccess #MarketingMagic #InteriorDesignExcellence #PropertyListings #CuratdInteriors #3DVisualisation #RealEstateDevelopment #VisualizeYourSpace #PropertyMarketing #StandOutDesigns #SalesPipelineBuilder #EnhancedAppeal #FlexibleDesigns

🌈✨ Elevate Your Interiors with Colour ✨🌈 When it comes to staging a property, colour plays a crucial role in setting the mood and enhancing the overall aesthetic. Whether you're looking to create a calming oasis or make a bold statement, incorporating the right hues can truly transform a space. Here are a few tips for utilizing colour in your interiors: 1️⃣ Start with a neutral base: Opt for a neutral palette for your walls, floors, and larger furniture pieces. This will provide a versatile backdrop for adding pops of colour. 2️⃣ Choose a focal point: Select a key area or piece of furniture to highlight with a vibrant hue. This could be a statement wall, a bold rug, or a colorful accent chair. 3️⃣ Mix and match: Don't be afraid to experiment with different colours and textures. Mixing complementary shades can add depth and visual interest to a room. 4️⃣ Consider the psychology of colour: Keep in mind the emotions and moods that different colours evoke. Soft blues and greens can create a sense of calm, while warm tones like red and orange can add energy and warmth. 5️⃣ Add accessories: Incorporate colourful accessories such as throw pillows, artwork, and plants to tie the room together and create a cohesive look. Remember, colour is a powerful tool that can completely transform a space and create a lasting impression on potential buyers. So don't be afraid to get creative and infuse your interiors with a splash of colour! 🎨💫 #ColourfulInteriors #StagingTips #HomeStaging #InteriorDesign #ColourPop
