Bottled mineral water typically does not have an expiration date because water itself does not spoil or become unsafe to drink over time. However, the quality of the water may deteriorate over an extended period, especially if the bottle has been stored improperly or exposed to extreme temperatures or sunlight. . Q. How do I know when my water bottle expires? To keep you safe, many bottled water companies will print a two year expiration date on the bottle, although there's really no precise way to predict exactly when the plastic will leach into the water. . Q. Why mineral water has expiry date? Water, in its pure form, does not expire. The date on bottles of water is basically the expiry of the bottle itself and not the water. Past the date, the bottle starts to leach chemicals into the water making it unfit for drinking. . Q. How do you store bottled water long term? Cap tightly and label each container with the words "Drinking Water" and the date stored. Store sealed containers in a dark, dry, and cool place. If after six months you have not used the stored water, empty it from the containers and repeat steps 1 through 3 above. . . . . #qualitycontrol #qualitymanagement #qualityassurance #productioncompany #productionmanagement #researchanddevelopment #compliancemanagement #compliance #iso9001 #iso22000 #haccp #haccptraining #fssc22000 #safefood #safety #foodblogger #foodbusiness #foodsafety #foodtechnology #foodtechnologist #riskassessment #riskmanagement #foodindustry #cfbr #waterindustry #hazards #foodart . . . Good life begins with consumption of good water. In this part of the world where there's high consumption of sachet water much more than Bottled water. it is important to note that packaging and storage of this water may have adverse effects to consumers. "Exposing sachet water to sunlight and harsh weather conditions can have a number of negative effects on the quality of the water. Sunlight can cause the plastic to break down, releasing harmful chemicals into the water. Harsh weather conditions can also cause the plastic to crack, allowing bacteria and other contaminants to enter the water. Overall, it is important to keep sachet water in a cool, dark place to maintain its quality and safety." So watch out for manufacturing companies, malls and stalls that distribute these products. #waterislife #consumerprotection #healthychoices

Why are batch codes important in food traceability? Batch codes, or unique identifiers, are integral to enabling traceability because they allow a food business to: ✔️ Identify batches of food they produce ✔️ Trace products back to raw ingredients ✔️ Track recalled or defective products back to source ✔️ Improve quality control with visibility of where and when products have been produced ✔️ Proactively manage aging or unsold stock If you’re looking to implement electronic traceability into your business, see how we can help here: https://lnkd.in/eRBJAqmm

Attention packaged drinking water and beverage processing companies! Are you complying with quality regulations? It's mandatory to maximize the safety and purity of your water supply by conducting strict microbiological and chemical analyses. These tests can detect harmful microorganisms and chemicals that can affect the taste, odor, color, and pH of water. Water isn't just H2O – there's massive chemistry involved. #Statistical_Quality_Control (#SQC):- ✅SQC represents a system that is actively employed within the food processing industry to monitor and guarantee food quality. This data-driven approach involves the collection of data on various aspects of production, followed by analysis using control charts. ✅Deviations identified through analysis prompt corrective actions to prevent potential quality issues. Ultimately, SQC contributes to reduced waste, consistent quality, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Reducing the Effects of Food Dust on People, Product, and Process Safety Manufacturing, processing, and packing food and beverage products often generate dust, posing risks to health, product quality, and safety. Implementing a robust dust collection system is crucial to mitigate these risks and ensure compliance with HSE regulations. Understanding your process is vital in the food & beverage industry. Varying dust compositions require tailored extraction solutions to protect your production environment effectively. Handled Ingredients: Coarse grains, fine spices, additives, flour, starch, sugar, cocoa flavourings, and more. Typical Applications: Silo-venting, bulk handling, weighing, mixing, blending, conveying, packaging, and more. When uncertain, evaluate processed material properties and conduct a dust hazard analysis and flammability tests to assess risks and comply with ATEX directives.
