How to calculate LCOE for Solar PV plant ? the Levelized cost of Energy is the cost of power produced by solar energy over the lifetime of the PV system. And in order to find the LCOE for solar PV Plant you need the followings: 1- Capital cost (CAPEX) : Total upfront costs including equipment, installation, and other initial expenses. 2- Operational Costs (OPEX) : Ongoing costs such as maintenance, repairs, insurance, and land lease (if applicable). 3- Yield or Annual energy production (AEP) : Life time yield So, LCOE = ( CAPEX + OPEX ) / Yield or AEP life time LCOE is very important indicator for the investors and decision makers.
