Months of extremes! May was wet, with an average of 7.32 inches of rainfall across the Tennessee River Valley. That's 170% of normal and the most rain in May since 2003. However, June turned hot and dry, with only an average of 2.59 inches of rain, which is only 60% of normal. The good news is that all that rain in May helped our dams produce over 2,000-gigawatt hours of clean energy.

How much from the cost savings of producing Hydro power will be re-allocated to the Valley to help local communities thrive? Proud we have Dam systems that produces energy (free) when it rains!
