🦙🦙 Lunch and llama! Our 3rd annual SSF llama day was a blast! 🦙🦙 Geo Caldwell, owner of Experience Llamas and good friend of the Twist Biopharma Solutions team, taught us many things about llama life while we fed and brushed three furry friends. We had a lovely weather day to picnic and mingle with our neighbors who were curious about why llamas were in the city. Llamas are our unofficial mascots because they generate antibodies that can be developed into drug candidates for cancers, autoimmune diseases and viral diseases. Huge thank you to the Geo for making the day so successful, and to everyone that came out. Twist Bioscience, #DNA, #llamas, #antibodies.

We have to do this at Edge, Janine Buonomo!
Hey Twisters!!!! You didn’t bring in llamas when I was there. What the….!!!! love this. I have bees, goats, and mushrooms now in Livermore if you all want to take a field trip sometime!!! Tell the Bills!!! They are my buddies!!!! 🤠🙋♀️🥰
If I ever make it over to the office, then I hope there's something like this happening... so I can make my 2 daughter's jealous 😀
Love these pictures! This post reminded me to visit my local herd, ShangriLlama, but I've just learned they're moving to Las Vegas. Is this a llamageddon or alpacalypse? 😭
Looking good Maen Sarhan!
I’m a little annoyed I didn’t get to experience the llamas.
I can feel the camels' envy through the screen. #monobodies
Keep the Llama clear of your lunch, LOL

2mo" they generate antibodies " - when is Twist going to switch to all in vitro selection & screening and stop injecting animals with immunogens and adjuvants? This is 2024, not 1941.
