We are excited to share that our visiting researcher Xiaolin He from TU Delft and our colleague Zirui Li have been awarded 3rd place in the ROAD MODE category at the TRA VISIONS 2024 Young Researcher Competition, hosted by Transport Research Arena (TRA).    The project, titled “Are you scared of automated vehicles? European-level online survey and AI reveal crucial factors for the perceived risk of automated driving”, seeks to enhance our understanding of the perceived risk associated with automated vehicles. By aligning human perception with technological advancements, it aims to enhance public acceptance and ensure the safety of these innovations. This recognition has been made possible with the support of ERTRAC - European Road Transport Research Advisory Council, a key acknowledgment of our efforts in advancing the field of automated vehicle technology.
