“People with purpose are hard to beat”, so says our CEO and founder, James Wilkins. This is a guiding principle for our agency, when we help any business consider a programme of change. Change, after all, must work for those powering an organisation first. This is why the team behind Two Degrees Below made a big change nearly a year ago to start afresh. As the creative change agency, we have a renewed sense of purpose to help others find theirs. Our journey is just beginning. We’d love for you to join us on it. Watch this space to find out how. A brand or narrative strategy should always be able to answer ONE question. How did it effect change? How did it help a business stand out in a sea of sameness, overcome a key challenge, unearth unexpected opportunities, or even define an entirely new category? Each project below started out with the need to tell a better story. Each project ended up answering a much bigger question. That's what happens when you go looking for #purpose. And when you have the answer to such questions, you give your business a competitive edge like no other. #narrative #strategy

Account & Project Manager | Marketing & PR | Building strong relationships & collaborations through strategic communication with Global Brands
Just please, please, let's quit overcomplicating the info 🙏 Nobody cares how smart you are or what complex words you found to explain something. We live in the fast-paced world, and you have approx 8.25 seconds to be seen or heard. Do you want to get people interested and insighted or at the very best to be asked millions of questions (you already covered with your polished smart words) after your speech/presentation, etc? Or what is worse to get people bored wondering why they wasted their time? And I don't even want to start on how many people are AFRAID to ASK QUESTIONS, because they don’t want to appear dumb or incompetent. I'm not saying that we have to explain all info like to a 5-year-olds (no harm in that!), but if you are not writing a scientific piece on molecular biology or aerospace engineering, maybe it's better for everyone to minimize potential risks of misunderstanding and time for breaking down the topic you covered? This exact time can be spent on creating more exciting strategies! Curiosity as a practice is another wonderful topic, we will leave it for later by now 😌 I would be happy to hear your thoughts on that. Pros, cons, pitfalls? 🤔

I cannot physically agree with this any more than I already do. So much Strategy is over complicated because we feel the need to show how much thinking and work went into it. Clients don't get it and it's dead on arrival. The best Strategies are powerfully simple.

Founder at Brand Talk | Marketing Mind, Millennial Achievers - Entrepreneur of the Year Award, 2023 | Entrepreneur Today 30 Under 30 | Business World 30 Under 30 | Economics Times 40 Under 40 |
5 Lessons I've Learned in My Three Years of Running a PR Agency As I reflect on the past three years of running Brand Talk, it’s incredible to see how far we’ve come, how much we've grown, and the lessons learned along the way. Here are five key takeaways that have shaped both me and the agency: 1. People are your greatest asset Your team is everything. Building a culture of trust, creativity, and collaboration will drive your success more than anything else. 2. Adaptability is non-negotiable The PR landscape evolves quickly. What worked yesterday might not work tomorrow. Flexibility is essential, and the ability to pivot has been critical to our growth. 3. Relationships fuel growth In this sector, it’s not just about campaigns—it’s about relationships. Nurturing connections with clients, media, and stakeholders is what drives long-term results. 4. Consistency wins the race Growth doesn't happen overnight. Consistency in delivering value, whether in client relationships or agency development, is the key to sustained success. 5. Celebrate the small wins In the rush of scaling and delivering, it's easy to overlook small victories. Celebrating these moments keeps morale high and reminds you of the progress you're making every day. Here's to many more lessons ahead! #LeadershipLessons #GrowthMindset #AgencyLife #Entrepreneurship
