Gun control: 2 to the body; 2 to the head. Now that is gun control
It can't be said often enough: Gun control is a lie. From the phony claims about saving lives to avoiding responsibility for their failures, they prey on the public, counting on them to not ask questions. It is high time for a real discussion; time to let the public see the truth about both sides and make their own judgements. No more preaching to the choir, we need to make our voices heard.

See our article on gun violence in America.
On Monday, this article written by my husband was published in the Davis Vanguard. It requested that both presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Donald Trump lay out their vision to stop gun violence in America. Today, the National Association of Black Journalists questioned Candidate Harris on the topic of gun control. Kamala Harris said that she would support the following: (1) a ban on assault weapons, (2) an increase in background checks, and (3) close the loophole at gun shows. It took courage for Kamala Harris to answer those questions, but we want to know when Donald Trump is going to define his stance on guns and gun violence in America. Inquiring minds want to know. https://lnkd.in/gDfm4jdg

Today is Firearm Suicide Prevention Day, and it's more important than ever to talk about the devastating reality of gun violence in Texas. Our state has more guns than any other in the country—and with easy access to firearms comes a higher risk of suicide. Firearms are used in over 60% of suicides in the US, and the majority of those deaths happen in states with the weakest gun laws. It’s time for Texas to prioritize safe storage and strong prevention laws to protect our communities. Take action with us before more lives are lost: https://lnkd.in/gvWhzTmD #SafeStorageSavesLives #SuicidePrevention #GunSafety #TexasGunSense
