Antifreeze matters, even in summer! Engine coolant protects against corrosion as well as frost. Testing the antifreeze concentration using a Gunson 77105 dial type tester is a simple procedure.  The Yanmar 3GM30F this sample was taken from needs a 50/50 mix which should read -37oC.  This sample shows -22oC which means the mixture is too weak at 36%. Weak coolant is a false economy and puts the engine at risk. #maritime #boatchat #marinesurveying
