Everyone was telling Keith Penn and I that #SellersSummit2024 was going to be amazing. They were right. Organized by Steve Chou and Toni Herrbach, attendees had the opportunity to learn and discuss great strategies pertinent to any big brand hoping to cultivate sustainable growth for their company. As a seller myself, I benefitted greatly from the Summit’s speakers and other like-minded attendees who are passionate about strategies for scaling. My favorite part of the conference was the abundant opportunities to network and build connections among the industry's best. Perhaps my favorite moment was making a new connection during a morning coffee run. It’s always fun to bond over one’s love of coffee. Here are a few takeaways I'd like to share: 1 TikTok Shops: The fee increases are making sellers tread carefully but all of us see the potential. Quantity > Quality…currently. 2 Walmart: Continues to be a hot topic for boosting overall profits but man, there's a lot of headaches on the way. 3 Cash Flow Struggles: eCommerce owners are still wrestling with cash flow and profitability. 4 Social Content Strategy: Leveraging social content effectively can drive stronger demand and cut acquisition costs. 5 Amazon Advertising AI: Ritu Java and Mina Elias always bringing in some really cool tactics to help sellers optimize while also saving time. I'm truly grateful to have met everyone last week, new and old friends. It's always a pleasure when you can talk shop.
