Decarboxylation, often called decarbing, is a key step in activating the compounds in cannabis that provide therapeutic effects and the signature "high." If you've ever wondered why smoking or vaping cannabis produces noticeable effects quickly while eating raw cannabis flower does not, the answer lies in decarboxylation. Understanding this process can help you create more potent edibles, tinctures, and other cannabis products while also providing insight into the science behind how cannabis interacts with our bodies. Check out our latest blog below and learn more about decarboxylation. 👇 #Cannabis #Decarboxylation #THC #CBD #CannabisExtraction #ArvidaLabs https://lnkd.in/eq5ykrSh

As I research the literature to learn about the attributes cannabis consumers care about, every study indicates “quality” is of utmost importance. ◆◆◆ But what does “quality” mean?!? ◆◆◆ ⁉️ High THC concentration? ⁉️ Toxin free? ⁉️ Rich in cannabinoids and terpenes ? (How do you define “rich”?) The greater the variance across consumers in how they define “quality”, the less meaningful the studies are. More specifically, how do you provide consumers with high quality cannabis if you don’t know what constitutes quality from the consumers’ perspective? How do YOU define quality when it comes to cannabis products?
