I was interested to see the news about a new partnership between AT&T and AST SpaceMobile. The two companies have signed a six-year agreement to provide the reported first full space-based broadband service directly to common mobile phones. AST SpaceMobile is a company that is developing a network of satellites that will provide broadband coverage to mobile phones. The company's satellites will be able to deliver data speeds of up to 1 Gbps, which is significantly faster than the speeds that are currently available on many mobile networks. AT&T will be the first mobile carrier to offer AST SpaceMobile's service. The service will be available to AT&T customers in the United States. The launch date for the service has not yet been specified. However, the two companies are working together to bring the service to market as soon as possible. This partnership has the potential to provide broadband coverage to millions of people who currently do not have access to it.
