CSES, RAND Europe and our partners European Women in VC and Dealroom.co pleased to announce contract award for European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) to undertake a Study on the #Genderinvestmentgap affecting women-led companies and women-led #investmentfunds. The study will analyse the extent and nature of the gap, and identify ways in which monitoring can be improved. The study requires: 🔸Development of common indicators to improve measurement of gender investment gap in women in #VentureCapital and #DeepTech 🔸Development of methodological framework, with harmonisation of data sources & indicators (to degree possible). 🔸Good practice identification/ analysis, through case studies on topics such as the gender dimension within financial instruments in #InvestEU, and initiatives such as #WomenTechEurope 🔸Development of a repository of data sources and literature on women in VC and deep-tech 🔸Consideration of policy issues around closing the investment gap 🔸Various stakeholder engagement events - #businessbreakfasts, #workshops #seminars #focusgroups - will be held during study in different locations across Europe - watch this space! #EISMEA #genderequality #women #venturecapital #deeptech #WomenLPs #WomenGPs #WomenFounders
