In the wake of devastating tornadoes and storms right here in Northwest Arkansas, our Meals that Matter® disaster relief team was and continues to be on the ground to support our home state. Team members and volunteers, alongside our friends at Walmart, have been working hard to cook hot meals and distribute ice and water. Because when a natural disaster strikes, it’s more important than ever to support the communities we live and work in.

I had a chance to volunteer for this and what amazed me was the strength, hope, and courage that our people in NWA have! There were lots of smiles given away, even a hug and a kiss on a cheek! Tyson Foods loves our community and it truly showed during this heartbreaking event. When people said “Thank you”, my favorite response was, “You are worth it!” #NWAStrong
