Echoing this post and emphasizing that we can right the ship on public health messaging and general public awareness and education surrounding COVID. The response to this pandemic has not provided the best protection overall, but we need to grow awareness that COVID is airborne, transmits through aerosols, and that *respirators* (not just any mask) are the right tool for the job on infection prevention. We also need to create clean air infrastructure to take some of the burden off individuals. Old buildings need to be retrofit with adequate ventilation and filtration systems. New buildings need to be required to do so.
