I just challenged with Max MÄNNEL the calculation of Mark Winkers video. To show you, that 3d printing is a valuable production method for even higher batches we have calculated the breakeven: MaxResolution3D could produce in 8 days 61538 parts for 0,63 € per piece in the material BASF Forward AM Ultracur3D ST 45 Black cheaper than injection molding. These numbers are for our current setup. Scalability is given! In the calculation of Replique the part costs are 0,50 €. If the part would cost just 0,10 € in injection molding the breakeven would be at 15094 parts. #3dprinting #seriesproduction #3ddruck #automation #injectionmolding
