"Teaching digital literacy to students isn't about keeping up with technology; it's about empowering them to shape the future of technology." Understanding the necessity of digital literacy as a fundamental skill in today's world, Team UBA, IIT Roorkee chose to conduct a Digital Literacy Workshop in Gopalpur on 12th April 2024, to bridgthe gap between technological advancements and educational accessibility. The outcome of this initiative was not only evident in the students' increased proficiency with MS Office tools but also in their eagerness to explore and adapt to new digital technologies. Witnessing the enthusiastic participation and keen interest of the students in exploring further digital tools, Team UBA, IIT Roorkee has planned to conduct such workshops in the future also for the betterment of educational landscape of Gopalpur. Enabling SAP Partners to Win New Educational logos along with New Revenue Streams via “SAP's industry Cloud for Education" on BTP by Si6 (GROW with Si6 along with SAP)
It's disheartening to see many youngsters losing their valuable lives after failure to perform in IITJEE entrance test/ inability to cope with stress. Probably it's time that India abolish #iit entrance test based selection, which students have been preparing from 5th class onwards. When someone is preparing for so long, obviously it should be considered as cheating the system rather Merit. Here is my point of view. Firstly replace the IIT Selection method, i.e the students should be handpicked based on their proven record of solving grassroot problems with indigenous means/ technology at their schools. Any one who have solved a real problem should get direct entry into IIT. No more tests. Any other criteria, people will disover a loophole to cheat. (No predictable means, must have a central databse of innovations). Eg: A program named "Intinta Innovator" has addressed many indian day to day by young students. These are real problems, Imagine if these are converted into world class solutions. India will soon become self sufficient. https://lnkd.in/gwbZHDQ4 Dharmendra Pradhan Suresh Prabhu Ajit Rangnekar Jayesh Ranjan University Grants Commission (UGC) MAMIDALA JAGADESH KUMAR Jaideep Prabhu

Every news associated with the recent death of UPSC aspirants is painful and disheartening. In 2022, I had an opportunity to work as a research lead for India for a global project on 'Future of education'. The insights on advancements related to pedagogy, technology, content, equality and more got me really impressed with the efforts being made in the direction of advancements in education, BUT this news and for that matter my visits as a guest lecturer to some of the premium institutes in India, really got me thinking about the superficiality of it all. We are ready to use AI driven technology for teaching or use the online proctored method for exams, but fail to provide basic things like a clean and properly functioning toilet to students. Why do these institutions forget that if the right environment to study is not provided, then in the long run it's difficult for children to learn, memorize and then later recall the learnings? When we advance, through application of even the best of research findings, however fail to provide the best of the basics, we are only doing patchwork and even such research then becomes useless. #education #research #india

Ever wondered why so many educational institutions in India struggle to keep up?🤔 This is my first post about Shishu Vidhya. What is Shishu Vidhya? A solution-oriented initiative dedicated to transforming educational institutions by boosting their growth, enhancing digital presence, and improving student engagement. Why I Started Shishu Vidhya: 1. Shocking Digital Gap: Did you know that over 60% of Indian schools lack an effective online presence? This severely limits their growth potential. 2. Engagement Crisis: Only 25% of educational institutions have robust student engagement strategies, which results in poor retention and satisfaction. 3. Overwhelming Competition: In a country with 1.5 million schools and 39,000 colleges, standing out is a daunting challenge. Many institutions struggle to attract and retain students. So, I decided to channel my passion for education into creating Shishu Vidhya, a platform where I can help educational institutions overcome these challenges and thrive. Let’s make a difference together! 💬 DM me for consultations and let’s transform the educational landscape!

🚀 Transforming Education: Bridging the Academic Divide with a World-Class Digital Open University 🌐 I am excited to share the vision for establishing a world-class digital open university in India, aiming to bridge the academic divide and significantly boost the Gross Enrollment Ratio (GER) by over 50%, as envisaged in the NEP 2020. By setting up such Universities, the private sector can play a pivotal role in transforming India's education landscape, ensuring that quality education is accessible to all, and meeting the ambitious targets set by NEP 2020. Let's work together to make this vision a reality! We urge the Government of India, University Grants Commission (UGC) and other regulatory bodies to create an innovative framework for the private sector to participate. #EducationForAll #DigitalUniversity #NEP2020 #InclusiveEducation #EdTech #HigherEducation #IndiaEducation #TransformingEducation MAMIDALA JAGADESH KUMAR

It was an honor to participate in the recent discussion at #SavitribaiPhulePuneUniversity on implementing the New #Education Policy (NEP). The energy and commitment from Hon'able VC @Dr. Gosavi, Hon'able Pro-VC Dr. Parag Kalkar , and Hon'able Dean Dr. Yashodhan Mithare were truly inspiring. Their #collaborative approach is exactly what's needed to ensure a successful NEP rollout across affiliated colleges. By working together, universities can empower colleges to effectively implement the new policy and navigate any challenges that may arise. In my session, I focused on streamlining the accreditation process for institutions. It's not just about ticking boxes; it's about creating a system that fosters excellence and aligns with each institution's unique vision. A well-defined accreditation process can be a valuable tool to support a thriving academic environment that embraces the goals of NEP. Ultimately, a #successful NEP implementation requires a collaborative #effort between universities, colleges, and accreditation bodies. Today's discussions at Pune University were a great step forward in building a brighter future of education for all.

I am thrilled to announce a groundbreaking development in science education at Govt. Middle School in Shahpur, Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh, made possible by the unwavering support of the National Payments Corporation Of India (NPCI) through its CSR initiative. . With NPCI's generous backing, we have established a dynamic mini science center at our school, aimed at revolutionizing how science concepts are taught and understood. Central to this initiative is the introduction of interactive models and exhibits, including the innovative Pin Screen model. This hands-on learning tool allows students to explore the relationship between pressure and contact area directly. As they interact with the pins and observe the changes in contact area based on pressure, students not only grasp scientific principles but also develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. . The impact of this experiential approach is profound. It fosters deeper engagement and curiosity among students, transforming passive learning into active discovery. This is particularly crucial in aspirational districts like Singrauli, where such educational enhancements can significantly enrich the learning experience and empower students to dream big. . We are dedicated to nurturing a generation of innovators and problem-solvers. Our collaboration with NPCI underscores our commitment to leveraging education as a tool for social change and empowerment. Together, we are creating a pathway for students to excel in STEM fields and beyond. . I extend my heartfelt gratitude to NPCI for their visionary support and partnership. Together, we are shaping a brighter future by empowering young minds through interactive and impactful learning experiences. . https://lnkd.in/dK4KcmJb . . . #npci #csrinitiative #govtmiddleschool #shahpur #singrauli #madhyapradesh #scienceeducation #handsonlearning #interactivemodels #sciencecenter #pinscreenmodel #tactileexperience #fundamentalprinciple #pressureandarea #empoweringstudents #aspirationaldistrict #interactivelearning #curiosity #supportingeducation #csrindia #csreducationprograms #corporatesocialresponsibility #socialresponsibility #corporateresponsibility #csrinitiatives #csractivities #stemlearning
