Haven't posted in a while. So figured I'd post a little update about what I've been up to recently! I'm currently going through the process of applying for jobs within programming. Been spending this academic year since September completing a PGCE In Secondary Education teaching Computer Science, but as much as I am enjoying teaching, I can't help but miss spending my days coding. I'm already feeling the pressure of these different interviews. They're both nerve-wracking and exciting at the same time. Worst part of it all though isn't being rejected, it's waiting for the responses from my applications or interviews. I'm sat here in between teaching lessons religiously refreshing my emails in the hope I have a response for an application, or an invite to the next stage of an interview process. It's still a long search, and I need to be careful with getting my hopes up with specific studios. But I'm excited to move back into the industry and see where my career takes me! #gamedevelopment #programmers #programming #jobhunt #professionaldevelopment #professionalgrowth #onwardsandupwards #careergoals #gamesindustry #games

Data analyst, Equity research,Financial modelling, SQL Certified NISM-XV: Research analyst, CFA candidate
This is to all students out there:- Start making yourself visible to others thats how you can achieve your dream job and able to make a good circle. Being introvert and shy won’t help you to get anything, make your first move, approach to people whom you want to connect with thats how you can show your work to others and able to get more opportunities in future. If I know someone who is good at research I would definitely approach him for work. Make use of social media platforms, networking events and join communities related to your field. I know few people who are good at programming and other things but still not focusing to come out of their comfort zone. Don’t complain later if someone with less knowledge and skills will surpass you just because he is good at connecting with others. Accept it now or regret it later but if I know someone publicly or someone approaches me I would definitely prioritise him/her only and that’s the same case happens everywhere.

Software Engineer @ Zoho • Frontend, Web, React JS, Javascript, Typescript, ES6, Jest • Building Performant and Scalable Frontend Applications
Fortunately or Unfortunately, the Interview systems hasn’t given you the options to choose the best one. It’s hard to digest, but it is what actually has become a reality. The competition out is fierce. One will have to do all to qualify. I’m not writing this to fear you away. We have to accept it. It’s better to accept and work on rather just whirling around the same questions - “if this is a must, or what’s enough to prepare”. The more you go looking out for options, the more you limit your own opportunities. Learn. Upskill. Stand out with your resume. And there’s no best alternative to GeeksForGeeks for Software Engineering. Best part, GeeksforGeeks 🚀 is back with their most successful Three90 challenge.
