Is this another aspect of Transmedia? I think so and it is superbly executed. In any case, this music/theatrical is awesome. I have high expectations for 10 Chambers and #denofwolves. Also as a reminder, here is the initial trailer in which the video shared by Ayaka Hahn takes the elements from. Music by Simon Viklund (awesome work) https://lnkd.in/g6d2SyDd

How life should be everywhere
This photo speaks for itself!! For those of you who know our amazing President and CEO, Cathy Weiskel, you know that she pours her heart and soul into BYSO, and she has worked devotedly (27 years and counting) on behalf of the thousands of children that have been a part of this organization. We are so grateful to Cathy, and as is clear from this photo, she is ever-so delighted that the doors to the BYSO Youth Center for Music are now OPEN! Photo by Michael Lutch

🌟 **A Lesson in Creativity and Integrity** 🌟 You know, it’s amazing how far some people will go to claim what isn’t theirs. Just when we think we’ve seen it all, someone surprises us—sometimes in the worst ways. On September 1st, I generated a Christian contemporary song using #Suno, a fantastic AI music platform. With the help of another AI, I generated and tweaked the lyrics, and by the next day, I was excited to share it on #SoundCloud and #YouTube. Fast forward to earlier this week, and I received a copyright violation notice from SoundCloud. Someone had taken MY song, changed the name and cover graphic, and claimed it as their own. They even posted it on YouTube! I contested their claim, providing ample proof based on the creation and posting dates. Yet, both SoundCloud and YouTube denied my appeal. Honestly, it’s a bit disheartening, but I can take solace in knowing that I didn’t personally create that song—and neither did they. So is there actually copyright? Moving forward, I will continue to share my version of the song freely with #Christian congregations for their use in services. Instead of making my creations public on mainstream platforms, they will now be shared through links. I’ll also be utilizing platforms that offer better protection for artists, like #ReverbNation. It’s a reminder that integrity matters in creativity, and I’m committed to sharing my work in a way that aligns with my values. Here’s to creating, connecting, and uplifting each other with genuine art! 🎶✨ #Creativity #Integrity #Music #Copyright #AI #ChristianMusic #Artistry #SupportArtists https://lnkd.in/g8Ak9pzC

It's so daunting leading an organisation – of any scale. In pitches and discussions, the topic of marketing is tabled a lot. For a company 4 years in, we really should be reviewing our marketing strategy to "put ourselves" out there. The sentiment is great, but the reality is a double-edge sword when you're the one making the decision on where to allot your human and monetary capital, along with available resources within a limited timeframe. Do you focus on the integrity of building the product or do you sell fluff in an attempt to lure in numbers? And at the end of the day, what numbers matter more? The marketing bump or the value of goods sold? Running an internal small outfit while leveraging on the strength of our partners have led us to building a culture that is inclusive, actively thinking, and open. In preserving this culture, one of the principles we practice is to prioritise what is important for the overall and in the long run. It takes time to groom the next generation of creatives, they are not sufficiently developed fresh out of school to perform at high stakes without guidance. Marketing effectively requires knowledge and market sensitivity, both of which can only be gained through the guidance of a senior. For us, we prioritise the transference of our senior's skills to juniors so that they can independently run projects under our banner. At XZV Studio, we started succession planning before our office doors opened and that will remain a law of establishment in our operation. In that, always product first. But in the interim while we have a spare minute between our actual work and marketing persona, here's a Mid-Autumn greeting from our office to your outfits. Wishing everyone great harvest in the coming years ahead. (We really do forget the day of the week, let alone creating social media artwork! But yes, we shall try our best to share more and make a habit out of it.)
XZV Studio wishes everyone a joyful and luminous Mid-Autumn Festival! May your nights be filled with mooncakes, lanterns, and cherished moments with loved ones. Happy Mid-Autumn! 🐰

It's that day of the month again when supporting artists generates even more (real) revenue for them... At 08:00 UK-time the 40th Bandcamp Friday goes live. You'll still pay the same, but the platform itself takes no cut, waiving its revenue share. Bandcamp hosts independent (DIY) artists, as well as labels. I support Bandcamp. Founded in 2008, it's based on taking a revenue share of sales. Their share is 15% on digital items, and 10% on physical goods. Payment processor fees are separate and vary depending on the size of the transaction, but for an average size purchase, amount to an additional 4-7%. The remainder, usually 80-85%, goes directly to the artist or their label, and they pay out daily. Bandcamp Fridays began in March of 2020 at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, when the shuttering of venues led to a loss of vital tour revenue for artists.
Is it Bandcamp Friday?
