Decision-making and deliverance of public service goods require a delicate balance between the stake-holders ie democracy, technocracy, and bureaucracy. Elected stakeholders (democracy) are supposed to represent and safeguard public will or sentiment of the people which involves a strong element of emotion, that will be assessed by the technocrats to rationalize it and make it doable, while bureaucracy is supposed to facilitate and implement it. In the contemporary times however, civil society has also been gaining significance in the policy apparatus and has occupied a lot of space against traditional stake-holders. #Civilsociety #GoodGovernance #Democracy
