It was a privilege to engage with industry experts, make valuable connections, and gain firsthand knowledge of what companies are seeking in potential candidates. One highlight was the insightful panel discussion on the timeless debate: skill versus attitude. Understanding the perspectives of experienced professionals and their emphasis on the right mindset alongside technical prowess was truly eye-opening. It reinforced the importance of not just what we bring to the table skill-wise but also the attitude and approach we embody. These interactions have not only broadened my understanding of the industry but have also inspired me to continually develop both my skills and attitude to stand out in today's competitive landscape. In anticipation of the forthcoming major #jobfairs, during one of our events at #CFN we discussed the potential benefits of a job fair and the best strategies for success. A notable level of skepticism surrounding the value of job fairs still prevails... To testify for the opposite, I'm always keen to share my personal success story, when I secured a position at one such event in the first weeks as a newcomer. Yes, it was a survival job, and for a variety of reasons I eventually did not take it. However, it was certainly a positive result. ❗ The outcome of a job fair for an individual directly correlates with the level of preparation invested.
