Hospital-at-home programs are allowing patients more comfortable and cost-effective ways to recover from acute illnesses like pneumonia, UTIs, kidney infections and more. We're enabling many of these programs across the country through Cardinal Health's Velocare solution, in which we go into patient homes to deliver and set up the equipment, technology and even the medical meals needed for those admitted into the program. When the patient has recovered, we also go back to remove the hospital equipment upon their discharge. This WBZ | CBS Boston segment gives an incredible behind-the-scenes look at how these types of programs work through the eyes of a patient. Watch the segment here: https://lnkd.in/gr9mqkhE
