Great example of how a team works as a single unit over a fairly long time frame. while they're celebrating 3rd anniversary in a new avatar, I have seen them working together as far as my memory serves - more than 10 years for sure. So, what's the mantra to stick together as a team for over a decade 1. Complete autonomy and sense of ownership. Decision making including very strategic ones such as partner selection is done with everyone agreeing to the same. 2. Total transparency - everyone knows everything about the company including access to the CEO's email ( not advocating this as a best practice though 🤣), but nothing can be a greater example of transparency 3. Direct and no nonsense communication style including arguments 4. Complete flexibility in working hours. Family priorities come first for everyone and other team members support the person who needs time away automatically. These are few of my impressions as an outside observer who has seen this team through ups and downs.

Transformative HR Leader | DEIB & Inclusive Culture Strategist | Driving Talent Development & Organizational Excellence
Two Years at GRAIL – A Journey Just Beginning 🚀Two years ago, I joined GRAIL with the hope of contributing to something larger than myself—creating a space where everyone could feel valued and where our work could impact not just the company, but the world around us. A few short weeks after joining, we launched our first DEI Week. Fast forward to now, and we’re preparing for our 3rd DEI Month. It’s been an incredible journey, but I know we’re only just getting started. Let this be a reminder to plant the seeds you want to see grow. It’s worth the wait🌱 The speed at which things have grown has been nothing short of amazing. Watching our DEI initiatives skyrocket in impact has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my career. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion work has a ripple effect that extends far beyond internal efforts. At GRAIL, it touches our colleagues, customers, and patients. Our focus on health equity and addressing cancer health disparities shows how this work can directly transform lives, ensuring that early detection and treatment outcomes are equitable for all, particularly underserved communities. The most rewarding part of this journey has been witnessing the collective commitment to inclusion. It reminds me every day that inclusion is a journey, not a destination—and that the titles we hold are borrowed, but the impact we make is lasting. As I reflect on these two years, I’m reminded that impact doesn’t come from where you are, but from what you do. Cheers to more impact, no matter where the journey takes me, and to continuing the work of building a future where everyone belongs. 💫 #DEIMonth #HealthEquity #InclusionMatters #ImpactfulLeadership #DiversityAndInclusion #Leadership #RippleEffect

It's Friday! Before you sign off - have you taken a moment to reflect on what you've achieved this week? 🤔 This is something we wanted to get better at The Write Impression PR & Marketing (TWI). So, our brilliant Kate Everett started running her 'Weekly Wins' update. It's the best email of the week and gives us the chance as a team to be present and celebrate our successes together. ✨ It doesn't matter if you are a team of one or 100. It doesn't matter if you feel like you've had the worst week ever. Give yourself a minute to write down three successes. 🖊 This exercise is great for adopting a growth mindset and is also the perfect way to set you up for the following week. ⭐

Every Friday I send out a 'Weekly Wins' update to my team. Why? We spend so much of our time looking at what we need to do next that we often don't take the time to pause, recognise our achievements and say thank you for a job well done. For me, it's also about visibility. On busy weeks, everyone sees me running around, but don't always know where, why or what the outcomes were (and I struggle to sometimes). It's a nice way to end the week, connect and enjoy the moment. I want my team to know that I see and appreciate their hard work and brilliance. I was (and am) inspired by Mark Heasman, who runs a huge social enterprise but takes a minute every single week to reach out to his people and share his insight in 'A Minute with Mark'. How do you celebrate and share your wins?

I get asked a lot of questions about "What does Radar Promotions mean?" - "What separates you from everyone else in the promo space?" - and in 1 post & picture, Kristina perfectly summarized it... In a world full of #LogoSlappers, our team takes a diffferent approach: The first question is "What HAVEN'T we seen with this client's logo on it before?" - The second question is "Should our clients logo be on this?" We are constantly striving to push the envelope of branding, while protecting the brand guidelines but also taking a #FreshTake on the brand, with new, innovative products & imprinting technologies.
Over here at the Y being the coolest Executive Director ever, passing out Y jibbetz to staff- big THANK you to Ryan Paules for the extra goodies he put in with our last order. The best service and Y products around!

4 out of 5. We have talked about this. The more successful people I have been around, the more I have noticed it as well. I am not unique. It isn’t a bug in becoming successful. It is part of the feature. It is empowering to get to that level of awareness. Not that these things should be a badge of honor on their own. There are plenty of people who are 5 out of 5 and living on a park bench somewhere rather than highly successful. But these things are opportunities for training, diving deep inside ourselves, discovering who we are, and being who we need to be to achieve whatever purpose we were built for. The bigger the castle, the stronger the foundations need to be. And these “obstacles” are what build the strong foundations for visionaries to build their castles on. Brilliant work. Brilliant video.

1️⃣ Year at Rebellion 🎉 Time flies when you're immersed in a role that not only challenges you but also brings immense fulfilment. I’ve recently surpassed my first anniversary at Rebellion, and I must say, it's been my most rewarding professional journey yet. Over the past year, I've had the privilege of being part of a vibrant culture that champions hard work and provides genuine support for personal development. Each day has been a new opportunity to grow, not just professionally but personally as well. One of the best things I can share from the past year on a personal level is the importance of running your own race. I've always embraced the idea that success is not one-size-fits-all, and I think it's important to celebrate our own milestones without comparing them to others. So that’s why I’m taking a moment to reflect on the progress I've made, the challenges I've overcome, and the unique path I've carved out. Whether you’re at the beginning of your career looking to make a mark on the industry, or a seasoned professional looking to start a new chapter, the brilliant Talent team at Rebellion is always on hand to provide advice or support to help you on your individual journey. https://lnkd.in/gUjC-c9N #workanniversary #careergrowth #personaldevelopment #jointherebellion #gamesindustry
