The Global Greenchem Initiative, executed by the Center for Green Chemistry & Green Engineering at Yale, and orchestrated by UNIDO, is supporting sustainable chemistry practices and knowledge worldwide! With a $12.6M grant from the Global Environment Facility (GEF), we're promoting green chemistry and innovation, and eliminating hazardous chemicals. 📍 Countries Involved: Indonesia, Jordan, Peru, Serbia, Uganda, and Ukraine are joining us on our quest, create and distribute knowledge and target specific industries to eliminate persistent organic pollutants (POPs) and mercury while reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Our mission is to bring the benefits of green chemistry to every corner of the globe.
