Monitors when, where and what works are used. 2. Negotiates tariffs and other conditions with commercial users of music. 3. Licenses the use of protected works on behalf of its members and of other rights holders it represents worldwide through reciprocal representation agreements. 4. Collects the fees (royalties) from commercial users of music and distributes these to the rights holders (ONLY members of UPRS whose works have been exploited commercially by the licensed users).
