Harness the Power of Polls and Surveys: Engage Your Community Engaging with your community is essential for any project’s success. One of the best ways to involve your community is through polls and surveys. They are simple yet powerful tools that can provide valuable insights into what your community wants and needs. Here’s why you should consider using them: Why Use Polls and Surveys? ◼ Engage Your Community: Polls and surveys make your community members feel valued and heard. When you ask for their opinions, they know their input matters. ◼ Get Valuable Feedback: Instead of guessing what your community wants, you can directly ask them. This helps you make informed decisions that align with their needs and preferences. ◼ Build Trust: Regularly seeking feedback shows transparency and openness. This builds trust and strengthens your relationship with your community. How to Use Polls and Surveys Effectively ◼ Keep It Simple: Ensure your questions are clear and concise. The easier it is to participate, the more responses you’ll get. ◼ Be Specific: Ask targeted questions about upcoming projects or features. This will give you more useful and actionable insights. ◼ Use the Right Tools: There are many free and easy-to-use tools available, such as Google Forms, SurveyMonkey, and social media poll features. Choose the one that best fits your needs. ◼ Share the Results: Once you have the feedback, share the results with your community. Let them know how their input will shape upcoming projects or features. ◼ Act on Feedback: Show your community that their opinions matter by implementing the most popular suggestions. This encourages more participation in the future. Conclusion Polls and surveys are powerful tools for engaging your community and making better decisions. By regularly asking for and acting on their feedback, you can ensure that your projects and features meet their needs and expectations. Start using polls and surveys today and watch your community thrive! #CommunityEngagement #PollsAndSurveys #CommunityFeedback #EngageYourCommunity

Not so many SMMs know this or practise this, but you should know it and practise it. On day 1 of handling a social media account, one of the important things you should do is take screenshots of all the numbers in the account, the followers, impressions, reach, profile visits, best-performing content, everything! These are analytics you'll be needing in a couple of weeks into your work. One month later, use these analytics to measure the effect of your work. Present this to your boss/client/stakeholders, whether you're being asked for it or not. Your ability to give analytics report of the work you're doing monthly shows you're good at your job and can be trusted. Know that, your analytics report won't be looking great all the time. Sometimes, you're putting in the work and the platform has other plans. Meanwhile, there are times when your Analytics report will totally blow your mind, for good I mean. Aside from submitting the analytics report so that it helps with your credibility and trustworthiness, gathering these reports each month will help you see what's working and what's not and help you improve on your strategy. The other thing is that screenshots will save you in ways you don't see coming. Try to have date stamps in your screenshots. These screenshots will be needed in your portfolio too, take them please. Have a great day today 💙! #smm #socials #socialsqueen #socialmediamanager #socialmediamanagement #socialmedia #analytics #reach #impressions #numbers #uyosocialmediamanager

Your BFF for all things data 📈 | GA4, Data/Looker Studio Specialist for Business Owners & Agencies | Making PPC & SEO Campaigns Work By Using Data
Is there a best time to post on LinkedIn? 🤔 I evaluated more than 20k personal profile posts to find out. 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘆. 𝟮𝗮𝗺 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 👀 Not what you expected? Me either 🫠 I took a chunk of the data Simon P MARSHALL collected for the #LinkedInfluencers report and heat-mapped avg impressions by day and hour. I excluded anomalies (extremely high and low impression posts) to get a more accurate data set. 🕑 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 (although this is global data so bear that in mind). I'll run this again with UK and US data separately. I've also experienced this myself; some of my best performing posts have gone out at 11pm (ish). But, I have a bit of a hot take on this 👀 Test loads of different days and times and then 𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮. There is no one size fits all here. If you Google "best time to post on linkedin" you're going to get a lot of the same generic responses. You'll get completely different data if you evaluate company pages 📃 But heat-mapping a data set like this, could provide you with some eye opening insights. 👉🏽 Need help getting insights like this? Contact me or Simon P MARSHALL for more info on our social media reporting.

Interesting experiment with the Salesty community. To sum up, I've launched a Pricing theme for the whole week, with mainly polls. Member engagement is very satisfactory, even if it's essentially one click, and comments are still rare. But that may be related to the topic itself. The statistics reveal two aspects. Firstly, the engagement rate is around 10% higher than in previous days. On the other hand, the hashtag blitz seems attractive, generating an increase in the number of new members. In this sense, for the community manager in me, it seems an effective tactic. But, as you know, I'm more interested in quality than quantity. On this point, the visible absence of new experts in this field in the group can be considered a failure. I'll report on the topic choice and Pricing aspect next week, when all the surveys have been completed and made public. Stay tuned #Sales #Community #Feedback
