Human Resources or Hu-manual Labor? The UKFCU HR Team recently took a teambuilding trip to the Seedleaf community farm where they seeded sorghum trays, planted salad greens and onions, weeded paths, mowed grass and built pathways both for the farm and for their professional relationships! Many hands made light work of the day's tasks and they all returned to the office sore but satisfied!

5 Lessons Bees Teach Us To Build A Hive-Minded Workplace And Career Chances are you’ve heard a coworker refer to themselves as a worker bee. That’s because bees are known for their capacity for organization and hard work. A bee hive is a complex structure with thousands of bees working together for the common good of the colony. Each bee has a specific role within the colony, and their coordinated efforts keep the hive functioning efficiently. Much like bees, business organizations are complex ecosystems that require a Group Intelligence (GQ) or Hive Mind to function optimally and create meaningful change: https://lnkd.in/eFqH6gSQ #bees #nature #lessons #ecosystems #workplace

What a beautifully articulated analogy! Your comparison of a new employee's first day to planting a delicate seed in the corporate garden is poetic and incredibly insightful. Indeed, just like skilled gardeners, managers play a pivotal role in nurturing that seed into a thriving part of the corporate ecosystem. Your key takeaways highlight the importance of a thoughtful onboarding process, providing essential tools, and fostering a sense of belonging. It's akin to creating the perfect environment for a seed to take root and flourish. The metaphor of the first welcome being like the first rays of sunlight is particularly heartwarming. Setting a positive tone from day one is instrumental in shaping the employee's journey. Your emphasis on connection, team integration, and continuous support resonates strongly, much like a gardener tending to every aspect of their garden. Thank you for sharing such a delightful perspective. It truly encapsulates the essence of a nurturing and inclusive onboarding experience.

📝✍️ In the corporate garden, the first day for a new employee is like planting a delicate seed. 💭Managers, as skilled gardeners, play a crucial role in ensuring a thriving environment. ♦️Some key takeaways from this post are: ➡️Much like a gardener tends to the soil before planting, a thoughtful onboarding process prepares the groundwork for a successful integration. ➡️Equipping the new hire with essential tools, resources, and an overview of team dynamics allows them to navigate through the corporate topography with confidence. ➡️ A warm welcome is like the first rays of sunlight after a long night, sets the tone for the entire journey. Managers, as the keepers of the corporate greenhouse, should foster a sense of belonging and interconnectedness. ➡️Introducing the new member to their team is like planting a seed in a well-chosen spot. ➡️Watering the seed of connection is equally crucial. Arranging informal gatherings or team-building activities on the first day can break the ice and foster a sense of community. ➡️Just as a gardener provides a watering can to nourish the young shoots, managers should offer continuous feedback and support. 😊 This is how every company should Introduce and help the #newjoinee on the first 🥇 day so that he/she gets comfortable with the company surroundings. Want to know what people in public think bout my heated indoor tent cities with work and wifi, Roku channels, $150 given back from rental welfare portion as incentive to leave town, into semi comfortable tent, where addict can buy their own tv, microwave, mini-fridge, hotplate. work anytime in 24 hrs they want to, at $10 hr doing turning soil over, picking fruit n veg s, recycling, or even demolishin.....get aggression out even, in productive way. Have foodz counsellors, nurses, etc...go there, sokeep em there 29 outta 30 days. public will give more, both sides make $$, farms, have good security. If in another's tent without person, immediate expulsion. but if something semi productive, crime goes down, less stress on cops, court, and prison staff. keep em semi happy with way to make one days high. or 20-21 hrs, they ll get used to work just enough to keep em away n happy together, semi productive. u d save just in reduction in CouRT fees, etc....
