The pertussis vaccine wasn't available in 2012, but it's available to all pregnant women today. If you're pregnant, it's important to take up the pertussis vaccine when offered. It helps protect your baby in their first few weeks of life.

As an adult still recovering 7mths later I feel for every poor child that develops this ! Pertussis is horrendous!!!
