UK Home Office’s Post

UK Home Office reposted this

Remain vigilant and question who your clients are – that is the message from Security Minister, Dan Jarvis, to security professionals. He is urging you to ensure that you are not helping foreign powers to carry out damaging activity against the UK.   The UK Home Office has published new guidance to support the security industry when you are approached for work. There are ways to ensure that you are not assisting state actors looking to undertake malign activity that would harm or threaten the safety or interests of the UK, which may result in you committing a criminal offence.   For more information, see the guidance at https://lnkd.in/eymDJ9jC. #NationalSecurityAct #HomeOffice #SecurityProfessionals #SecurityIndustry

I think that starmer and Reeves are 'damaging activity against the UK.' well enough by themselves. Don't need any foreign help

Sounds like another way to pass the buck. I can understand a NGO doing their due diligence but for the operator on the ground working for a client through this NGO how are they going to know?
