Today is the second anniversary of russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine while its aggression against Ukraine started in 2014. During all this time, russia brought thousands of deaths and severe destruction to Ukrainian territory. 💔💔💔💔
Regardless of how horrific and devastating these times are, Ukrainians do not have the privilege to "turn it off' or change the scene, since it is not the decorum but the real life where all of us are living now. ❤️🩹
We are fighting today for our peaceful life, European values, and democracy against tyranny and evil ignoring world order and the rules of international law.
We remember all the heroes who gave their lives for our present and future.

Ukrainians are a people with big hearts, but the resources of the Russian aggressor are much greater than Ukrainians. Ukraine needs as much financial and military-technical support as possible!
Please keep in mind that the democratic world cannot afford to lose in the global struggle between good and evil. Therefore, the democratic world must stand with Ukraine and ensure its victory!

Today marks two years since Russia's invasion of Ukraine where millions of lives were forever changed. The invasion and the subsequent fighting has killed or wounded tens of thousands of people and reduced many Ukrainian cities to rubble. There are still nearly 6 million Ukrainians displaced around the world, most of them women and children.
Our partners at the Andreiev Foundation reflect on the past two year and how they are existing day to day.

Where is the explanation of the American National Security interest in all of this folly? Where?
In another but related post, It is a lie that Putin invaded Ukraine unprovoked. OMG! The provocation of Russia began in 1991 when we ignored the warnings of George Kennan, Jack Matlock, and more but a few that expanding NATO toward Russia would prove to be the greatest Strategic Blunder in modern history. Our world-beating, history-making Liberal Hegemonists ignored their betters as they always do when evidence is contrary to their ambitions (Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Syria, Libya, GWOT, and now Ukraine). They decided—they decided, not the American People, to expand NATO. Why—no American National Security interest was provided. We can cite nothing positive for AMERICA - I mean AMERICA- that NATO has accomplished since 1991. It was our American interest to depart NATO in 1991. But certainly, as proven not to do so, it has profited the military-industrial complex and sycophants for decades now--They win. America loses.
Founder John Jay in Federalist #4 warned us of the pretenders to war for profit and aggrandizement who promote war outside our American Interests. This is where we are and have been for decades.
John Jay--Federalist #
"But the safety of the people of America against dangers from foreign force depends not only on their forbearing to give just causes for war to other nations, but also on their placing and continuing themselves in such a situation as not to invite hostility or insult; for it need not be observed, that there are pretended as well as just causes of war.
It is too true, however disgraceful it may be to human nature, that nations, in general, will make war whenever they have a prospect of getting anything by it; nay, that absolute monarchs will often make war when their nations are to get nothing by it, but for purposes and objects merely personal, such as a thirst for military glory, revenge for personal affronts, ambition, or private compacts to aggrandize or support their particular families or partisans.

BREAKING IN UKRAINE: Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanks Senators Chuck Schumer and Mitch McConnell for the passage of the bill to send him billions of dollars more to fight Russia and defend the Ukraine border.
He writes, "I am grateful to @SenSchumer, @LeaderMcConnell, and every US Senator who has supported continued assistance to Ukraine as we fight for freedom, democracy, and the values we all hold dear.
"For us in Ukraine, continued US assistance helps to save human lives from Russian terror. It means that life will continue in our cities and will triumph over war.
"American assistance brings just peace in Ukraine closer and restores global stability, resulting in increased security and prosperity for all Americans and all the free world."

9 Sept 2024 Russian Roulette
This week, Max and Maria were joined by military analysts Michael Kofman and Rob Lee to discuss the latest phase of the war in Ukraine. Max and Maria asked them for their thoughts on the ongoing Ukrainian offensive in Kursk, and whether or not this seizure of Russian territory by Kyiv exposes Russian threats of escalation as hollow. If they are hollow, does that mean Western "red lines" on certain kinds of aid to Ukraine should be reassessed?
8th May
A memorable day for Europe and the whole world, as we celebrate Victory in Europe Day.
This year marks the 79th anniversary of the victory over the horrible regime. But not 79 years without wars.
Today, and for the last 10 years, Ukraine has been fighting another regime that needs to be stopped. And not just Ukraine, but a bunch of countries that have been terrorized in the last decade, and more.
