Helping Job Seekers Secure their Dream Job in 30 Days | Career Counselor | Job Search Strategist | Employment Consultant | Job Placement Specialist
I’ve heard many people say the job they accepted didn’t match what they expected from the recruitment process. Recruiters and managers must set clear expectations from the start. One downside of a short, one-to-two-step recruitment process is you don't get to talk to different team members or gather enough insights into the team's operations. If you’re in a brief recruitment process, receive an offer, and are unsure if the role is the right fit, request a call with a team member. It shows you care about your career, and I’ve never seen anyone reject this request. You don’t want a resume filled with short stints at various companies; it doesn’t make your profile stand out. Most importantly, you don’t want to be stuck in a job where you’ve been misled. Has this ever happened to you? #recruitment #interview #jobsearch #careerdevelopment #careercounseling

Finding a new role after a long stint with one company or having been out of employment for some time can be daunting, especially navigating the modern application process. My wife recently experienced this first hand. What surprised us both was how challenging the pre-interview stages were, particularly the application process itself – cover letters, profile explanations, lengthy application forms, video applications (really?) and the need to sell herself extensively. After feeling overwhelmed by the process, she turned to just using recruiters for assistance and gave up entirely on direct applications. The difference was remarkable. The recruiters cut out the long winded, tedious and time consuming application steps and secured her interviews quickly and effectively. Ultimately, she landed a role with far less stress and far quicker than trying to navigate the process herself. This experience provided a valuable lesson: recruitment agencies serve a vital purpose. They not only simplify the job search process but also offer invaluable support, especially for individuals juggling multiple responsibilities. It also acted as a reminder to me, that the services recruiters provide go beyond just filling vacancies – they have a tangible and significant impact on the lives and careers of candidates, helping them navigate the complexities of the job market more effectively. So, here's a thought: companies seeking talent may find that partnering with reputable recruiters is the key to accessing a broader pool of candidates. By leveraging their expertise, businesses can tap into a wealth of talent they might otherwise overlook. #Recruitment #TopTalent #JobSearch #CareerInsights

A long interview process can cost you great talent! In today's fast-paced job market, a drawn-out interview can seriously affect a candidate's interest in your role. 🕑 With every additional round: ✅ Candidates might accept other offers. ✅ Their enthusiasm for your role wanes. ✅ You risk creating negative impressions about your company’s efficiency and responsiveness. In the UK, 60% of job seekers reported that a lengthy hiring process made them lose interest in the role (source: Totaljobs). Let’s focus on streamlining the process to keep top talent engaged and interested. Have you ever experienced this issue? Candidates, no doubt, have rejected your offers of employment over the years. Have you ever looked into why they did so? Finding out why candidates say “No thank you” to your job offers truly can help you figure out where you went wrong in the recruiting process/candidate experience and look at them as learning experiences. Taking a look at the actual reasons why candidates said no can help you revamp your criteria, create better job descriptions and even improve interview techniques. Changing how you look at rejections can help you gain insight, helping you improve your recruiting process with each “No, thank you.” You can start building (rebuilding?) a recruiting process that becomes more effective over time. Rejection can help you improve your hiring process but also can help you building a hiring/recruiting culture that embraces learning, openness and even adaptability. And, as you no doubt know, adaptability is key in today’s always-changing world of recruiting. #Recruitment #TeamDebbies #JobOffers

Hey everyone, I think From a Talent management prospective our passion is to connect great talents with the right opportunities. Recently, there's been an increase in candidates going through the interview process, receiving offers, and then declining!! While every candidate has the right to choose the best fit for his career, it's important to be transparent throughout the process to not to waste your time or the company resources, here’s some points I believe we need to follow when it comes to applying to a new opportunity! · Do your research! Understand the company culture, the role, and compensation range if available before applying. · PLEASE be upfront about your salary expectations and career goals during interviews. · If you receive multiple offers, communicate clearly and promptly with all companies involved. Being transparent and respectful of each other's time, we can build stronger candidate-company relationships and make the hiring process a win-win! #TalentAcquisition #Recruitment #CareerTips #Respect
