✈️ Adapting to the future at Malaga Airport At ULMA Handling Systems we have had the opportunity to contribute to the renovation of the baggage inspection system at Malaga - Costa del Sol Airport, adapting it to the EDS STANDARD 3 regulations. 🔍 The result? · 26 new baggage inspection machines installed. · Complete refurbishment of terminals T1, T2 and T3. · Integration of the most advanced security systems, including new screening levels and anti-explosive containers. Chisinau International Airport recently put the ILS CAT III system into operation: This system ensures safe landing even in dense fog. As of January 23, Chisinau International Airport officially entered the category of airports equipped with the ILS CAT III instrument landing system. This certification allows flights to operate in extremely low visibility, eliminating previous restrictions and significantly contributing to the reduction of delays and flight cancellations. How does ILS CAT III work? The system provides pilots with accurate direction and altitude when landing, even when visibility is almost zero. ILS CAT III allows landings with a vertical visibility of between 30 and 0 meters, horizontal visibility below 300 meters and a minimum of 75 meters. The use of this technology also depends on the level of preparedness of the staff and the airlines. Now Chisinau International Airport is prepared to operate safely even in difficult weather conditions, minimizing passenger inconvenience and delays. NATS extends contract to provide air traffic controllers to Hong Kong ⚙️✍️ NATS in Fareham, Hampshire has extended its contract for another five years to provide world-class air traffic controllers at Hong Kong International Airport.
