Last night, my youngest asked me "What do you do at work?" So, I clarified, "What do I do?" or "What does the company do?" Her answer, "First, the company, then you." Today's news announcing CLOUDEDGE made the conversation easy as I explained three scenarios for how voice networks work via "old school" wires, the internet, and the cloud. It's a lot for the phone companies (aka, telcos) to manage because at best they have 3 different systems to keep working in order to make calls, chat and video work the way we expect. In particular, for the oldest systems, I let her know that many of the technicians are now nearing retirement and finding replacement parts is not easy, so we've got to find a way to update those systems and its REALLY hard work. At Alianza, Inc. we help the telcos modernize and move older systems onto a single network in the cloud (she's young and understands the cloud). That way, they don't have as much to manage and can see what's going on more easily. And we're different from some of the other companies she knows, like Zoom, because we help with all kinds of communications at home and work, whether people are making calls, talking to emergency services, chatting with customer service, or working on video. We help do it all, not just voice or video and not just for big companies or small ones. And since we don't sell directly to her grandparents, the pizza place down the street or big companies like daddy's, my job is to make sure the telcos that do know that Alianza has solved these tough problems and is ready to partner up. Thanks to CLOUDEDGE, from the biggest companies with names she'll recognize like AT&T and Verizon to local providers that serve smaller communities similar to where our cousins live, Alianza has the services to simplify the way they run their businesses, so they can make more money and deliver a better experience for everyone.
