The objective might be 1. Sales of our lead product are falling by 22% a year - find out why and come back to me with a solution to fix the fall or 2. My 14 year daughter's friends were at our house and they started laughing at our company advert when it appeared on television - why did this happen? Are we out of date - how can we fix our appeal to this new emerging generation? 3. I showed our new tv ad to my wife and she didn't like it- can we change the agency who produced it? Below are highlights of our m&a and strategy work this week… - kicking off a new strategy project with a digital video sales agency - kicking off second round diligence and a QoE after signing an LOI for a client m&a deal over the weekend - doing a findings presentation with another digital agency. After reviewing their ops data and KPIs, and interviewing team members, we have some great insights about how to free up leadership time with a team reorg, improve their rate card, and right size their talent roster - kicking off with my second 1on1 coaching client, another influencer agency. Unsure I can take on more (though they are fun), since I’m getting busy with… - a large influx of companies needing sell-side m&a advisory. I’m increasingly spending time diligencing and qualifying our leads, since we can only take on so many projects at a time. So we need to ensure they’re viable acquisition targets, and timing makes sense vs waiting till later in year or 2025 - and more, including brainstorming on carve outs from public co’s, future exec meetup planning, and creating a new 2024 budget for an affiliate client Onward, will be a full week! —- I’m the founder of RockWater Industries.
