🌍 International Day for Rural Women 🌍 Today, we proudly join the global celebration of the International Day for Rural Women, recognizing the vital contributions that women in rural communities make towards building resilient and sustainable societies. At AfricaEnergyParks, we are committed to empowering these women by providing clean, sustainable energy solutions that transform lives. 🔥 Clean Cooking Alternatives In Africa, an estimated 900 million people still lack access to clean cooking options. Every year, over one million deaths are linked to exposure to harmful smoke from firewood and kerosene, predominantly affecting women and children. By introducing Improved Cookstoves (ICS) that integrate easily into traditional cooking systems, we aim to drastically reduce these health risks, ensuring safer homes and healthier lives. ⚡Productive Use of Energy We are developing and promoting energy-efficient agro-processing equipment. This helps rural women optimize their time and labour, creating opportunities for education, entrepreneurship, and community leadership.
