UPDATE ON THE 2ND EDITION OF THE PERSONAL CDS CHALLENGE FOR VOLUNTEER CORPS MEMBERS.   Hundreds of Thousands of Naira are set to be given away in the next 4 weeks!!!   Entries for the 2nd Edition of the OCI Foundation’s Personal CDS Challenge for Volunteer Corps Members will close today, February 29, 2024.   We received about 20 entries (expressions of interest, EOIs) for this edition, and will be sorting these out in the next few days.   The list of the valid EOIs will be released by Monday, March 4, 2024.   As was the case in the 1st Edition, we will allow another two weeks for all those who expressed interest in the contest to submit their entry videos and pictures.   The final list of the contestants will then be released around March 15, 2024.   The contest itself will run from March 18 to 22nd (5 days).   To know all about the CDS Challenge (or submit an EOI for the 3rd Edition, follow the link provided).   #werisebyliftingothers #ocifoundation

The value and benefits of volunteers are many folds, both for the volunteers and the orgnaization they are supporting. Resuming the connection in person enriches the program. https://lnkd.in/g_FQzEyb

Drawing on the precedent of South Sudan's peace agreements like ARCSS in 2015 and R-ARCSS in 2018, as well as the UPDF intervention to prevent state failure in South Sudan in 2015, it is evident that the frontline countries and regional organization of IGAD , must assume a prominent leadership role in averting state failure in Sudan. This proactive involvement is essential to forestall any further exacerbation of the complex challenges in Sudan.
